Midweek Shootout - Think Tattoo

It was a rare opportunity for me (I don't have that many friends) as one of my neighbors allowed me to snap pix of her while she got her tattoo at Think Tattoo Far East Plaza. Though it took over two hours which ended after 11pm, it was definitely worth staying out for this, especially with the pix I took.

Before the tattoo is etched onto the customer's skin, tattoo artist Elson Yeo would go over the design, making tweaks and modifications to it.

Once the customer agrees to the design, the tattoo is applied onto a transfer to be applied to the skin. Touch ups are then made directly onto the skin before the tattoo process begins.

Ink galore!

Preparation of the needles

Modifying an existing tattoo to blend in with the new design...

[End]
Thanks Bertha and Elson!

Weekend Shootout - Formula Drift Pt 3

Here's the last batch of Formula Drift pix. After nearly a week, my skin is finally recovering from the sun burn...
One thing to note, for some reason there were attendees who chose to smoke near areas such as the above where gas tanks were within reach. Pity that they ran away when I tried to take a pic of them standing near such areas...

One of the main highlights of the Formula Drift event was the tandem drifting category, where one car would be the leader while the other the chaser. The leader and chaser would then have to complete a round on the grid where the chaser would have to overtake the leader. The winner of that lap would be the first car that reaches the finish line or if the other one crashes out.
