Wow, didn't know that the estate that I live in has celebrities for neighbours. Case in point, saw these posters on the notice board at the lift lobby of where I live:
Quite an act of shameless self-promotion but hey, you've got to have the balls to do this if you want to make it big! Wonder if there'll be a mob of fans invading the neighbourhood soon...
Saw a guy wearing a t-shirt at a Burger King outlet in town. Back of his tee had some interesting pointers in life according to some Maui philosophy. Couldn't remember exactly all of them but here's a list of those my friend and I recalled:
- The best things in life are not things
- The man who dies with the most toys.. still dies
- You can be rich too; either earn more or desire less
- Age is relative; once you're over the hill you pick up speed
- Don't judge a day by the weather
- No rain, no rainbow
- Be honest, speak the truth, you'll need to remember less
