Here's the rest of the pix taken at Bike Asia 2008 featuring more Italian makers such as Ducati and Vespa. The Ducati show floor showcased bikes both old and new with some models which had a 'Sold, please do not sit' sign pasted on them. However, that didn't deter motorcycle fans one bit...

Apart from the commercial and championship models on display, this classic Ducati piece was also an eye catcher...Something old and something new; the new and classic Vespa models on display.

Weekend Shootout - Bike Asia 2008 Part 1

The weekend was spent at the Singapore Expo taking pix of Bike Asia 2008 with my photography group. In terms of the motorcycle department, the Europeans came out in full force with brands like Augusta, Cagiva and Ducati showcasing their latest models.
Motorcycle helmet manufacturer NZi had their Chupa Chups series out on display. I was actually suspected of being a trade competitor when I was taking pictures of their helmets. They didn't buy the fact that I wanted take pix of their designs as I thought they were unique.

Another draw for Bike Asia was the stunt area which took up part of the exhibition hall. Two wheel lovers were treated to both motorcycle and bicycle stunt shows.
